Amora Shams
is
the director of AmoraDance Group.
She
has been related to Belly Dancing and the Arabian Culture since the
decade of the 80's because she grew up between the first belly dancers
in Spain: Alia Shams, Sahar Samara, Samah, Leyla and Gloria Alba.
Nowadays
in Spain are 1000's of belly dancers, but when Amora started
to belly dance publicly on the year 1993, there were just about 100
belly dancers in all Spain.
Amora
studied belly dance only with one teacher, her mother: Alia Shams.
As
Amora grew up loving since childhood the Art of Belly Dance, she
always wanted to be a Belly Dancer like her mother. But Alia insisted
that she had to study classical ballet first.
After
7 years studying Ballet, when Amora was about 16 years old, went
back to Alia and asked her to teach her in the 1st Belly Dance School
in Andalucia, south Spain.
Then
Alia said: "I
wont allow you to go on stage unless you are the best."
And
this is how all started ...
Nowadays
Alia Shams and Amora Shams are internationally known for
creating High Quality Belly Dancers, her students are women who come
from all over the world to study with them.
